What is FSC® certification?
FSC®(Forest Stewardship Council) certification is the most effective way of guaranteeing the origin of the paper. It is an international certification system which guarantees that the raw material used to make a paper product comes from forests which respect stringent environmental, social and economic standards.
The FSC® mark guarantees that the forest of origin was independently controlled and assessed in line with these standards (principles and criteria of good forest management), established and approved by the Forest Stewardship Council a.c. via the participation and consent of the interested parties. Unfortunately, in some states as much as 80% of forests are illegally cut down, also in violation of human rights.
