The quantity and uniformity of the adhesive over the entire length of the tape are essential to obtain a quality product! In Autoadesivi Magri, every day we try to improve our products. For this reason, we installed a new beta-ray scanning system on a coating line that can continuously measure the thickness of the film before and after the passage of the adhesive. Thanks to this system, is constantly possible to detect and adjust the thickness of the glue with extreme precision!

With the production of paper adhesive tape using FSC^® certified material, we have fulfilled an important commitment to our clients.

The certification guarantees our clients that the paper used derives from responsibly managed forests and satisfies the most stringent requirements in the social, environmental and economic fields.

What is FSC^® certification?

FSC^®(Forest Stewardship Council) certification is the most effective way of guaranteeing the origin of the paper. It is an international certification system which guarantees that the raw material used to make a paper product comes from forests which respect stringent environmental, social and economic standards.

The FSC^® mark guarantees that the forest of origin was independently controlled and assessed in line with these standards (principles and criteria of good forest management), established and approved by the Forest Stewardship Council a.c. via the participation and consent of the interested parties. Unfortunately, in some states as much as 80% of forests are illegally cut down, also in violation of human rights.

It was an enjoyable occasion in which we were all able to understand the new company and economic dynamics outlined by Maurizio Magri, CEO and leader, and Michele Magri, who together with Matteo Magri represents the third generation at the helm of Autoadesivi Magri.

Over the last year Covid and the problems connected with the shortage of some raw materials have cast doubt on whether being the leading producer with the biggest sales volumes is the right strategy.

The principle according to which the more you produce – the more you earn – the more you lower your costs is not so failsafe because this situation has also had a serious impact on the biggest and best structured companies in the business.

Conversely, the ability to quickly adapt to new production strategies has highlighted the advantage of being smaller than other better structured yet less flexible companies.

We learned that numbers aren’t the only thing that matter, that people count more than numbers.

For this reason Autoadesivi Magri is focused on improving both its workplaces, beginning with the production departments, and its interpersonal relationships, creating a human resources team that is able to understand people’s needs because a group of motivated people that supports the company’s mission will be one of the keys to our future.

Together we are ready for new challenges.

We want to do the things that we do every day better.
